Led by a highly dedicated team of experienced designers, DP Design has proven that its expertise stretches beyond the traditional realms of interior design to include space planning, corporate branding strategies, signage and wayfinding – elements of interior architecture that, when articulated successfully, further define the character of the spaces.

MIKE LIM (Director)

Mike Lim is responsible for the concept design and design development of a wide range of projects including commercial complexes, large condominiums, shops, restaurants and offices. He was the interior designer of The Dubai Mall, the largest mall in the world. Besides prominent local projects like Resorts World Sentosa, Changi Airport Terminal 1 and 2, and Paragon Shopping Centre; Mike has undertaken numerous overseas projects including Noon Square in South Korea and Abu Dhabi Tower in the United Arab Emirates. He is currently working on the renewal of Wisma Atria, Rift Bay in Jordan and Doha Festival City in Qatar.

JOHN TAN (Associate Director)

Before joining DP Architects in 2008, John Tan worked in two established interior design firms. His previous experience includes the retrofitting of guest floor corridors in Orchard Hotel and the suite corridors in Hilton Hotel in Seoul, Korea. John has managed both local and overseas projects, including residential developments, hotel retrofitting, F&B outlets and offices from tender to construction stage. John was the team leader for all interior design fitting-out works for the Central Zone and casino at Resorts World Sentosa. He is currently working on the West Zone of the same development.

The breadth of her experiences has allowed her to dream up design approaches ranging from contemporary to understated luxury. Ada has expertise in generating designs that focus on functional details, which shape the overall aesthetics of the built establishment that is conceived.

Aside from an assurance of quality, Ada’s designs often respond to sustainability concerns and are sympathetic to the different cultural contexts found in each region. Passionate about design, Ada’s work encompasses conceptualisation, design development and coordination throughout the tenure of a project.

Ms Ada Sim obtained her Bachelor of Built Environment (Interior Design) degree at Australia Queensland University of Technology in 2002.
