dante Posted November 22, 2014 Report Share Posted November 22, 2014 my current ECN account are with Armada markets, 0.01 starting lot,deposit for amount 1000 usd (actually 300 usd minimum, due EAcalculation requirement, i put higher due security purpose). what i do like from them is the low spread given, typically 0 0.8 pips on EURUSD including commision.http://quotes.armada...lot/quotes.htmla quick look on their live spread. not a raw spread, but a low feemark up, as i've got execution quality on ECN account type. is there anyone know where website provide a live spread comparison with most brokers, any source are more trustworthy than myfxbook would be better. dante Posted November 28, 2014 Report Share Posted November 28, 2014 i's always interesting when we put 0 spred at the header, but how bout the commision charged? been check and surf the net, it charged 4$ commision while my current account with armada market charged 2$ per lot, provide better margin call /stop-out level : 100%/30%, didn't see any better reason in changing account from my current broker. when scalping i would rather to stick with a lower fee mark up. I think so, but we must understand that there is no broker which provide it without another disadvantage. I think, if we charge spread when trading, it's not a problem as long as it's not big. dante Posted December 7, 2014 Report Share Posted December 7, 2014 yeah i think a zero spread account is good for those who can utilize it properly, with the good conditions given it can be good for scalpers. tight spread and overall trading cost, traders should put those both together, some brokers offer 0 spread, but in reality the charge much more commision per transaction, be pay attention upon their trading condition. and surely overall trade consist overall cost, some traders often underestimate their own transaction cost. for example i had monthly total order at average 150 transaction on EURUSD, at first i use non ecn broker service, 2 pips spread on eurusd which means, 150 x 2 pips, 300 pips monthly cost in total, as comparison with my current account at armada markets, 0.3 spread charged on eurusd, overall fee mark up cost are 0.8 pips x 150 trades equal to 120 pips monthly cost. have anyone ever consider how spread cost your trade. now i have additional 180 pips profit while use ECN brokerage service. before start and pick up your desired trading style, better consider how much it cost, what benefit and what the risk. spread mean you transaction cost, which means spread does matter with any trading system. Yes, low spread is very suitable to scalp in forex. But we also must know that there risk risk which we should bear and surely, we should minimize it to get more maximal result. Try to maximize forex forecast in a broker. dante Posted December 24, 2014 Report Share Posted December 24, 2014 scalping is my favorite system. i would make sure the brokers would allow my trading strategies, as provide a suitable trading condition based on my needs. i tried several brokers service just to find a perfect trading condition for my trading strategies, before i choose to open a ECN account with Armada markets, which fit and suit my trading system, for commision based brokers i've got only 0.8 pips fee transaction on EURUSD, execution rate are fast for entry process, low price stop level which means i can modify target level as near as possible to the current market. my suggestion is define your trading system first, and go find a proper broker for it, dont put too much attention with promotional offer or promotion, profitable trading result it all you need anyway. good luck. dante Posted February 23, 2015 Report Share Posted February 23, 2015 Read their trading condition throughfully. just do some check with this 0 spread offering,seem i would make it pass, there's no logic reason for me to shift from my current brokerTickmill. here's what (as low as ) zero spread offer : Commission: USD: $4 per 100,000 traded ($8 round-turn) on Majors, USD: $6 per 100,000 traded ($12 round-turn) on Others.While I get 3.8 $ round-turn on my current ECN account, I dont get it why claiming to offer as "zero" spread while in fact it cost 2 times higher than my current Tickmill account. spread are not the only thing to consider while scalping, it's not our total transaction, we had to put commission into our calculation.
