What is crawling & indexing?

Recommended Posts

Crawling in SEO is the acquisition of data about a website. Crawling is a process by which search engines crawler/ spiders/bots scan a website and collect details about each page: titles, images, keywords, other linked pages, etc.

Indexing is a process where our server crawls through your website, fetches every page that it can find and stores a list of keywords that are found on your site in our database. These keywords are then used to find pages on your site when a user perform search operations.

Crawling is a process by search engines to filtrate web pages for indexing. Actually, search engine crawlers check the web pages, look for relevant keywords, hyperlinks and content and bring information to the web server for indexing

Crawling is a procedure by which web indexes crawler/insects/bots check a site and gather insights concerning each page: titles, pictures, watchwords, other connected pages, and so forth.

Indexing is the most significant movement to get the site positioned in the web index; a site can't get positioned until and except if it will be recorded by crawlers.
