Midweek Premier League Free Tips

There’s a full Premier League program on Tuesday and Wednesday this week and, whilst there are no real headline matches, hopefully, there are a few bets worth having. We’ve free tips for Arsenal vs Cardiff, Fulham vs Brighton, Newcastle vs Man City, and Liverpool vs Leicester.

1. Arsenal vs Cardiff

Date/Time: (Tuesday 7.45)

Arsenal may have been slightly outclassed by Manchester United in Friday’s FA Cup match, but their last two home matches against bottom-six sides have produced a 4-1 win against Fulham and a 3-1 win against Burnley.

Cardiff have also struggled against top-six sides this season, including 4-1 away defeats to both Liverpool and Chelsea. They’ve also lost at home 5-1 against Manchester United, 5-0 against Manchester City, and 3-2 against their opponents here Arsenal.

All of that suggests this could be a game that has plenty of goals in it and taking a price of 11/4 or bigger about there being 4.5 goals looks a value bet.

2. Fulham vs Brighton

Date/Time: (Tuesday 7.45)

Fulham and Brighton aren’t the easiest two teams to predict, but Fulham will have to start winning matches soon if they’re to have any chance of avoiding relegation. That means they’ll surely be trying to get amongst the goals against a Brighton side that has conceded at least one goals in 12 of their last 13 Premier League games.

Fulham’s defence has also been leaking goals and Fulham have kept just two Premier League clean sheets all season. That fits nicely with the fact that the last three games between the two clubs have finished 2-2, 2-1 and 2-1 and it’s a bit surprising that the bookies are happy to go odds against more than 2.5 goals.

MY PREDICTION: Over 2.5 Goals with Best Oddѕ at 1xBеt9jа

3. Newcastle vs Manchester City

Date/Time: (Tuesday 8.00)

Newcastle haven’t found hosting top-six teams easy this season, but they’ve limited Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham to just two goals each, also scoring themselves in three of those four matches. They also managed to keep things tight against Manchester City in the corresponding fixture last season, eventually losing 1-0, whilst City only won 2-1 at the Etihad earlier in the season. It’s tempting to take odds-on for less than 3.5 goals, but the value bet could be Manchester City to win by one goal at 3/1 or better.

4. Liverpool vs Leicester

Date/Time: (Wednesday 8.00)

Leicester are a tough team to predict for win purposes but they have been hitting the net regularly recently with goals in seven of their last eight matches. They’ve also scored in five of their six matches against top-six opposition this season, whilst they have a decent recent record of scoring against Liverpool having lost their last three games to them 2-1, 2-1, and 3-2.

Liverpool have also conceded goals in four of their last five matches, with Crystal Palace highlighting that it is possible to break Liverpool down with three goals in a 4-3 defeat last time. So, at even-money or better, I’m happy to back both teams to score.
