Should I use Wordpress or Joomla?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I know Joomla is more sophisticated and I think Wordpress is simpler to use. But I don't know which one is the best for me.

So: should I choose Joomla or Wordpress? And why?

Thank you in advance

I would recommend you Wordpress all the day. It is used by millions of websites both small and enterprise, its very stable and secure and by using plugins you can have every function you can think of.

Also there are more themes for WP than for Joomla so you have more options to choose for a nice design that will fit your needs.

Both are the good CMS for developing a website.

Let’s understand CMS in an interesting way. Consider Jerry is having a business website and is aware of all the nitty-gritty of marketing the website but lacks in technical knowledge. Now, whenever he needs some changes in the website he has to ask his developer for the change. For More Read this Article: Selecting The Suitable CMS For Your Website

Using WordPress is pretty challenging. But it is more powerful and flexible if you don’t mind climbing a steeper learning curve. Personally, I I think it's better to consult a WordPress specialist if you need help with your wed design. This link may be helpful https://3atdev.com

As far as I know, Joomla has a few weaknesses regarding security, while Wordpress is more reliable in this case.

While WordPress powers 23% of all websites on the internet, it’s not the only open source content management system in the market. There are some other really awesome software  Joomla. All three of them have a lot in common, but they still have their own pros and cons.

  1. WordPress, Joomla all free and open source software licensed under GPL.
  2.
  3. All three of them are written primarily in PHP.
  4.
  5. They all support MySQL as their database management system. WordPress exclusively supports only MySQL, while Joomla and Drupal support other database management systems.
  6.
  7. All three of them use themes and templates for visual appearance of sites, and plugins, modules, or extensions for extending features.
  8.
  9. As open source software, they are all community-driven projects.

While there are a lot of similarities, they are different in many aspects. They have different policies about what to include in the core software, how to handle modules and templates, how to deal with security, etc. These differences make a big impact on users, and how they build their websites.

WordPress Easy of Use and Beginner Friendliness

Most people creating their websites are not web developers, designers, or programmers. They are average users who just want to build a website. Ease of use is the most important factor for majority of users.

So you can choose easily wordpress  and there have no question also any doubt.

I had some experience with Joomla a while ago but now I'm using Wordpress because it's really easy to find good themes and plugins for that CMS. By the way now I'm looking for something to boost up pricing convention consider this one - https://codecanyon.net/item/wordpress-pricing-table-plugin/20841735. Among others this is pretty simple and beside price you can show advantages or peculiarities for people to decide easier and faster.

Cheers, everyone! What do you think about testimonials on different websites, is it a useful thing for attracting more potential clients? Reviews on different goods are often read by those who are not well-informed about the quality of services provided by this or that company, right? But what if these testimonials are not original? I've recently come across this site, https://elfsight.com/testimonials-slider-widget/, its main purpose to create testimonials for your website, thus demonstrating to other people that you are a person to be trusted. I would like to know if anyone here has already done something like that before. Just wanna know how many reviews or testimonials I've read before were fabricated.
