As with many of the pronouncements of the gold bears, this is another case of them drawing conclusions based upon their own faulty understanding of markets, history, and precious metals, themselves. History bears testimony to the fact that the prices of precious metals like gold and silver have always appreciated over a period of time inspite of economic slow down. Gold and silver investment is a better investment than real estate investment because this is a liquid asset and you don't feel the money crunch in the hour of need. When it's all said and done, all you have to do is look at the statistics.
