1. Keyword Stuffing:
When your site contains nothing, but loads of keywords, regardless of whether they naturally fit in the sentences or not, is one of the top black hat SEO techniques, used by a lot of webmasters. Search engines are pretty sharp now; they spot such keyword stuffing and normally penalize the site. Keyword usage, no wonder is important for increasing page ranking on search engines, but moderation is the key. Too much of anything is never going to take you anywhere. The right way is to use the keywords strategically.
2. Invisible Text:
You may think writing keywords in white and smaller font against a white background, will help you in increasing the search engine ranking. But the fact is, such techniques get detected by the search engine spiders, sooner than you think; and once, they do get detected, your site is likely to get banned. Moreover, people sometimes tend to insert long lists of keywords below their web page, so that the search engine spiders could index the page quickly, which is wrong as well.

4. Posting Spam Comments:
This is also among some of the most used and top black hat SEO techniques. In this particular technique, webmasters post large number of spam comments with their site’s URL in various blogs, forums, etc, irrespective of whether the forum or blog is related to their site or not. This is also unethical practice of increasing your site’s ranking, you need to avoid.
