Those are great points. Most people neglect looking at how reputable the company is. They choose a life insurance policy that offers the cheapest rate but one which may not have a reliable reputation for paying out claims. I’d always advise people to look for financial ratings of each company before buying a policy. A financial rating from A.M. Best, Standard & Poors’ is one way to find out the financial strength and integrity of a company.  A rating of “A” or higher would indicate that a company holds a solid financial reputation and has a track record for paying off claims in a timely, efficient manner.
