It is nice to have this laid out so plainly.  Thank you for that.  What are the reviews that you speak of here?  Also, how does fresh content influence it.  How does forum posting increase your position?  Lots of questions I know...hehe

The Reviews - Reviews are a way of building relevant backlinks to your site (which google understands them as vostes given by webmasters for your site) So you may ask other bloggers to write a review about your product/site and place it on their blogs or forums

Fresh content - Thats very important for seo especially after Google recent alghoritm change (Panda Update). If you post unique, quality content on your site google will see it as fresh content and will increase your search engine positiong. This means your site is live, have fresh content that people will like to read

Forum posting may influence your position by 1)driving people to your site or 2) if you use signatures on the forum ..your posts will remain with signatures links to your blog.

Hey thanks for the reply scrape.  I started thinking about these back links.  You want to be linked back and forth with very good sites is what I understand.  At what point would a search engine consider you to be unethical or a farm?  I really don't have any backlinks as it stands.  I also wonder how vital my SEO really is if people can't find me under main keywords they would be searching for me anyway.  I would like to hear more about really nailing a big key word.  I would also like more input about backlinks.  Thanks.
