Not Producing Any Cash - What Do You Do Next
Alright, you have been working your tail off trying to make some sales on the Internet, all for naught. First of all, why not? Second, and most important, can it be corrected?
There could be many reasons why you don't cash in. It may very well be that your product or service just is not selling...for anyone. Have you checked to see? Is it possible you are zeroing in on the wrong market? Could you be in the wrong season for your item? (Snow skis in the summer...)
Here is the good news! You can check on the web to see whether it's selling or not. Those wonderful Search Engines are capable of more than you think!
As an example, I searched for statistics on car sales. Just put in "statistics on car sales". (Perhaps we should be car salesmen...) For February 2010 - latest information period - there was over $405 MILLION IN NEW CAR SALES THAT MONTH AND OVER $296 MILLION IN USED CAR SALES! AND YES... that was just February!
Sorry, now I have put both of us in a bad mood. It's not my purpose in writing this. Almost a three quarters of a BILLION in car sales in ONE MONTH!
Matter of fact, now that I have had a chance to think about it, THAT IS GREAT NEWS! If there is that much money floating around out there for buying just cars, there is more than enough to make you and I happy, RIGHT? YOU CAN BET YOUR BIPPY IT IS!
Back to our 'no sales' dilemma. Let us examine it more closely. Make certain you have these firmly under your thumb as they will make a difference if you don't.
1. Please check to see that your service or product is selling. (Remember the 'cold weather products' in summer?...)
2. How are you advertising? Are you utilizing TE or PPC, classified ads, writing articles, what?
3. Are you laser targeting your market or hitting it with a 'shotgun blast'? By that, I mean are you actually promoting to a very distinct audience (niche) or just blanketing the Internet with your ads? You cannot afford to be halfway about anything! Whichever plan you are utilizing stick with it!
I have also found that many new Internet Marketers will have a tendency to spread themselves too thin.
Say we were car salesmen. (Why not, I have already used it once...) Then you see these really cool tires, so you start selling them as well. Then, you find these outstanding tire cleaning and mounting items that you can make a pretty penny on. See where I am going here?
It has already happened to the best of us. Don't feel alone. But you need to find that niche and insert yourself in it. Hopefully you will soon see those sales start taking off and the numbers going up.
We all hope one day to be making daily trips to the bank and stuffing the money in our vault. You work hard and stay focused, and it will come to pass!.
