what is the brand of your laptop? is it good enough? what are the specs? how long have you have that by now? I am asking because I am planning to buy laptop online. That if I will have much money by next year. (What month??? you ask?? not sure, probably December 2010, hahahha) The brand that i wanted to buy is Dell. Their desktop is cheap. Dont you have a desktop?

@ PJ - well I do also own a desktop, but my laptop is the most i usually use, because I can bring it everywhere, well but with desktop it is more faster to use.

Yeah, recently I am more active in here than in any other forums. I think it's good chance to get some prizes in forex trading. I am learning to trade in InstaForex so I wanted to get some addtional capitals from InstaForex.

guys after reading your posts here i guess your computers are so ready to explode lol i usually open mine in the morning at 8am, then turn it off around 1 or 2pm. then turn on again in the evening. i love my pc so i give it some rest hours.

you are so compasionate with your computer alice. me, well i am no other way. i clean them.. but i leave them open for quite some time.. my brother turn it on very early at 6am.. but i set it to automatic off by 10am. But my sister will open it again.. then when i come back home, I use it again and set it to turn off by 4am...So my computer has few hours rest..hehehe

so are you not thinking of buying another computer or laptop just to make this one enough rest since three people at home are using it. do you still have time to check for it's health by running virus or antispyware scan? i hope you do.

Of course I do. I have Avira antivirus, personal. spyware doctor. Then of course you need to turn off your "Autorun" to all drives to "no" so that virus that will run automatically will not really run automatically. It helps control viruses.

is this Avira antivirus also free like Avast? because that's what i'm using right now. i don't have the cash to pay for other software when there's one that's free of use. i have been using AVG before but the latest version doesn't work on my pc so i switched to other. im not doing that "turn-off autorun" is it okay?

Yeah, Avira is free of charge just like Avast and AVG. I ever used all of those antivirus and I like Avast the most.

There are many antivirus those are free in internet. AVG also have premium version and somehow I got a activation key for free in internet which bring me 5 years premium license .

omg, is that straight 9 hours? spending too much time in front of the computer can really harm the eyes, you need to take some break neng. or at least move your eyes away for about 5 minutes every hour.

Yes, that's pretty long time that you spent in front of computer. But I think that was okay as long as you didn't see the monitor screen without any rests :D
