Lately I've started to use PayPal heavy so I finally have the chance to compare all the similarities and discrepancies of this 2 payment processors.  AlertPay even they started business way after PayPal managed to get a lot of notoriety lately and introduced great features like API, own debit card, fraud prevention etc.

asahero is nice to see you are quite good with AP disputes and manage to get some of the money back. AlertPay is doing way more than PayPal on this. PayPal simply allows a lot of time to pass till they actually start an investigation so the scammer have plenty of time to withdraw all the funds. So hands up for AlertPay.

In filing disputes, especially with Alertpay, the first thing you have to show the resolution department is that you have exercise "due diligence" in your transactions. Meaning, you have read the terms and followed them; that you have initiated an effort to reach out to the merchant first to settle your problem; and most of all you have a strong argument and proof to back up your claim.

Status report: VISA and MasterCard processing

--Update: As of today, November 18, 2011, there has been no change to the status reported below. We hope to have good news to share next week. Stay tuned for weekly updates.--

Although VISA and MasterCard processing will not be available as soon as we predicted, we are ensuring that when the service is operational there will be no issues or service disruptions. This week, our team has been devoted to exploring the terms of our new partnerships with leading payment processors. Negotiations are ongoing, but rest assured, progress is being made. The fact of the matter is that we are committed to doing things right and resolving things once and for all.

Visa and MasterCard plastic cards still can not be used on AlertPay

Thats really annyoing I dont know why this happens but every 1-2 years they have to switch their processing credit cards merchant. I suppose this is because they are processing adult adn pills payments and this industries are quite buggy I may say.

Anyway I've been selected in the debitcard program so I shoudl get mine soon :)

I have also been selected in the debit card program , Maybe this will make it easier to use AlertPay.  It's a bummer that AlertPay is having issue. I use to refer AlertPay to others because It is one of the more easier Payment Processorsto Join.   Seems like now I spend most of my time trying out other Payment Processors. Then I run into the issue that AlertPay is accepted a lot more then other Payment Processors.

Alertpay has now an option for anyone to deposit into their balances using CC. Also, Alertpay made good progress in their efforts to address fraud by integrating a new tab for filing disputes and extending the length of time for you to go after cheating admins and online scam artist.

MH Pillars, a UK-based firm specializing in prepaid-card solutions, has announced the strategic assets acquisition of AlertPay Inc., one of the world’s leading online payment processors.

London, England (PRWEB UK) 4 April 2012
MH Pillars, a UK-based firm specializing in prepaid-card solutions, has announced the strategic assets acquisition of AlertPay Inc., one of the world’s leading online payment processors. AlertPay’s proprietary technology enables businesses and individuals to send and receive money across the globe, shop and sell online, issue international payouts and perform localized bank transfers. With the addition of the AlertPay platform, MH Pillars will be able to enter the e-commerce industry with a full suite of online payment processing solutions.
“MH Pillars is an emerging leader in the prepaid-card industry, focusing on new markets and growth verticals. AlertPay’s recent entry into Bangladesh as the country’s first online payment processor to provide localized banking transfers showed us that our values and goals are parallel,” said Christopher Henry, president of MH Pillars. “Together, AlertPay and MH Pillars will deliver e-commerce payment processing solutions to a market that is becoming increasingly global.”
Mr. Henry continues to explain that another driver behind the acquisition of AlertPay’s strategic assets is the company’s commitment to customer support. “No other online payment processor has AlertPay’s level of customer support. For MH Pillars, our customers are everything to us. We pay attention to what they have to say – and they want increased account security and enhanced fraud prevention at an affordable price.”
Together, MH Pillars and AlertPay plan to expand both of the companies’ customer bases to deliver next-generation technology and tools to take the online payment processor to the next level of international market presence.
“We are very excited to join forces with MH Pillars, and their team of seasoned professionals. We feel that our e-wallet and payment processing capabilities coupled with MH Pillars prepaid-card expertise will form a symbiotic relationship. ” said Firoz Patel, CEO of AlertPay. “Working with the industry expertise of MH Pillars will help accelerate our target market penetration, along with increasing the service offerings for our current customer base.”
