Villa suffered another setback with a 3-0 loss away to Arsenal last week, and with tough fixtures against Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham to come in the run home, their survival is no sure thing.

Massimiliano Allegri's plan to stifle Barcelona worked to perfection as they by-and-large kept them at bay in the 1st leg. Alessandro Nesta's presence in the centre of defence was vital to the result as the veteran Italian rolled back the years with a classic performance. They are still unbeaten in the last nine games and one feels that they will need more goals from the support cast if they are fend off Juve for the title.
