I always asked myself "why?"
And I have a simple answer to it:
I like it, because everyone is equal from the start on and there is little what distinguishes me from you.
In other businesses, location, appearance, larger capital might be advantageous, but not in trading.
It is more like a chess game, where there are equal rules for both - something that is not
the case in most other businesses.
I can even go further and call it a game, because that's what it is with profits being scores and the one with
the biggest is then the first place winner.
So, why do you like trading? If at all, hehe!

First, Forex is lucrative business.
Then, I used to be a sport bettor, which means that I had to follow sport statistics and making predictions based on various managerial decisions. And then sports betting is also risky and exciting as well as Forex. So now switching to Forex I've just replaced sport scores with currency price rates but the risk and excitment has remainedthe same.
