We all know that social bookmarking are the nice way of getting traffic on website but someone told me that social bookmarking increase the bounce rate of the website. So kindly tell me Is it true.

Most likely it does, because social bookmark traffic tend to be just quick lookers. So it depends if you want to continue promoting that way if you are more concerned about generating more web traffic and possible interest in your site - or if you concerned more with analytics. I personally don't worry about it much, but then again i don't do a lot of bookmarking.

Yes off course bookmarking also increase bounce rate.

I think it depends on the quality of the traffic that it brings you.
